To the most recent anonymous at 8:34 p.m., I don't know why they took down their website, but it may have something to do with it being several years out of date. As for the public newsletter, we have copies of the originals, though I have not seen the allegedly edited ones. If you have a copy of one, please send it to lmccarty@saratogian.com.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02447642181495092008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3916367746067142134.post-76941712920198922622012-02-02T20:34:10.823-05:002012-02-02T20:34:10.823-05:00Does anyone know why the housing authority took do...Does anyone know why the housing authority took down their website? Is it possibly because they were trying to hide something else besides the fact that they edited the online newsletters to remove evidence that identified Johnathon as either a security guard or head of security? Or did they take it down just so there's no proof that they edited these newsletters at all?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3916367746067142134.post-46402858946652850342012-02-02T17:28:31.747-05:002012-02-02T17:28:31.747-05:00I'd fire him too if this was the same PR guy w...I'd fire him too if this was the same PR guy who said, in response to questions about an attempted eviction, "When the housing authority receives a complaint of a lease violation, the authority contacts the resident and issues an eviction notice. From there, the housing authority holds an informal hearing with an attorney present to discuss the issue and allow the tenant to present his or her version of events. The housing authority often resolves these matters during the informal hearings, and likewise occasionally elects not to proceed with evictions."<br />Basically his statement confirmed that a complaint about a lease violation -- not actual EVIDENCE of a lease violation, but a simple COMPLAINT -- leads to an automatic eviction notice that the tenant must then fight, by proving that the incident did not occur. In other words, assuming that the attorney is representing the housing authority and not the accused tenant, the implication is that tenants are always guilty until proven innocent, leaving them powerless against eviction unless they can disprove the allegations or hire their own legal representation. I don't think I'd want to pay a PR guy to confirm this reign of terror if I were the director or the board of commissioners at the housing authority.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3916367746067142134.post-12803555218454191622012-02-02T15:07:44.233-05:002012-02-02T15:07:44.233-05:00Hey anonymous, where did you hear that?Hey anonymous, where did you hear that?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02447642181495092008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3916367746067142134.post-31196810524791158832012-02-02T14:54:08.567-05:002012-02-02T14:54:08.567-05:00PR firm has been fired.PR firm has been fired.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3916367746067142134.post-55652033009535741392012-02-02T12:27:37.509-05:002012-02-02T12:27:37.509-05:00Foil the text messages to Brunelle - public record...Foil the text messages to Brunelle - public record!
