Silipigno's self serving rehtoric

I just came across an online diary apparently written by David Silipigno. Given recent news, I thought this would be interesting to readers. Here is an excerpt:

"The founder of David B. Silipigno Foundation, David ventured into business when he was only 19 years of age, and became a successful entrepreneur with sheer hard work and determination. National Financial Corp. (NFC) was his first business venture. David Silipigno was the pioneers of developing a call center approach towards business. His stint as the CEO and Chairman of NFC taught him a great deal about business management and entrepreneurship. He has been able to use this experience in running successful business ventures in future."

Many people are like this guy, they believe their own lies in spite of overwhelming evidence about them.

Self serving; Silipigno does not even want to pay his assessed taxes on his mansion with the indoor basketball court. He is not a good citizen.

This guy is a JOKE! It doesnt seem like people are realizing how crooked this guy is. Oh, I guess I should say the people that has had a large chunk of change given to then or their charity. Is this a case of stealing from the rich giving to the poor? I would say no. If anyone else has seen his house of 20,000 square feet of glamor (20,000-yeah, not a mis-print), I think they would agree with me.

I don't think giving to your community for 10 years is ever a joke. I guess the question is what have you done for your community? Seems easy to sit on blogs and criticize those that are actually doing something. I wish there were more people like him.
Also, I know many people close to the situation on the property taxes and the city has already agreed that they screwed him and lowered his assessment by over 50% before it even got before a judge!!!!!! What would you do if your house was assessed for double what the market value was? I am sure you would just accept it right? sure you would.... don't just hate for hates sake it's not a pretty thing and it's brutally obvious.
My advice to you is to know more facts before you speak. There are plenty of jerks in this town, lets not pick on the leaders that actually put money in the community and give a damn.
