Interesting that the Senate Republicans "pledged" to support an open, honest and independent redistricting plan BEFORE the Nov. election.
Now, of course, they have come up with lame excuses to avoid their commitment. Much like here in Saratoga Springs where the Republican mayor and his sycophants act to deny a vote on our form of government.
John Herrick, the City Republican chair and former mayor of Stillwater, should let Comm. Wirth do the right thing and vote with Comm. Frank against appeal and let the taxpayers have their say.
