Blotters from last weekend Jan. 6 - Jan. 8

Here are the blotters from the last few days. It was my weekend, so I'm just getting to post them now.

Friday, there was a report of a man too drunk to ride a bicycle at 1 o'clock in the afternoon who was brought to the ER, though I don't know if that is the result of the alcohol or an alcohol-induced fall of his bike.

There was also a report of a 23-year-old female and her child "missing" from Gansevoort. It was referred to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department, but after being told "I don't know anything about it" I was put on hold forever and eventually hung up.I'll try again later.

Jan. 6, 2013 Blotter

Report at 2:30 Saturday afternoon of an “elderly female walking a bicycle wearing a green scarf…” Gotta watch out for those, I guess. She was gone on the officer’s arrival. Perhaps she decided to ride the bike.

There was a platehunter hit. I’m always impressed with that technology, which I consider “futuristic” since they can scan thousands of plates a minute and turn up scofflaws, like the one who was spotted Saturday night and whose vehicle was towed.

At Skidmore, it looks like three subjects wearing hoodies, cutting bike locks and stealing them from campus. Evidently, they left on bike. A report was issued and campus security is on the lookout.

Jan. 7, 2013 Blotter

Man warned for shoveling snow into the road. So all of you readers be warned as well: Don’t do that or you’ll be warned.

A large Penske truck was reported to have hit a vehicle and driven away at about 6 p.m. Sunday night.

Sunday three subjects were riding bikes and “possibly looking in cars.” Could it be the bike thieves from the previous day? Gone on arrival.

Also a pedestrian accident Sunday afternoon which I’ll be checking on.
