Wait for it....

I'm told that the official announcement from John P. Arpei that he is running against John Franck for Accounts Commissioner won't happen until next week. Just for everyone's information.

That leaves just Finance Commissioner on the table for the Republicans and another supervisor race for the Democrats.

I've heard neither has great prospects of getting those spots filled on their slates of candidates, but there is certainly still time left.

Why would anyone elect a Democrat to the County Supervisor position. There is no chance their input would ever be heard. Just someone looking for free heathcare and a paycheck like the previous Democratic Supervisor would be interested.Town Supervisors should not be allowed to be County Supervisors. When a decision favors their twon and pocket how does anyone feel that is not a conflict of interest. The bunch in Malta have been doing this for years.

There are a couple super people out there who might run for Finance if they felt the Republican Committee would get off their butts and work diligently to help them get elected. It didn't happen last election and won't happen this time either. The entire committee from top to botoom should be eliminated and fresh aggressive knowledgeable people should be invited to the Party. Currently anyone who is not a YES PERSON need not apply.

3:19, that is about the dumbest statement I've heard next to Ken Ivins 'we need more Republicans on the Board, to get more things done'. The Republicans now hold a 19-3-1 majority now. If we keep electing all Republicans there will be no one to shed light on the tricky maneuver's that go on down there now.
